In 1925, LEICA invents the 35mm camera, and it shall change the history of photography forever. Photographers are now able to take their camera and document what is going on around them. It markst he birth of reportage and photojournalism. LEICA – A CENTURY OF VISION examines this transformation of global visual culture by inviting us to explore 100 years of documentary photography featuring renowned photographers including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastião Salgado, Steve McCurry, Jane Evelyn Atwood, Ralph Gibson, and Alex Webb, as well as contemporary voices such as JR, Greg Williams, and Ragnar Axelsson and hundreds of images of their groundbreaking work and the stories behind these photos.
